FRANCE STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT OF THE VILLAGE OF Faisanderie It is during this month of May, that building permits for the rehabilitation of the Faisanderie bars, will be deposited with the services of the City of Fontainebleau.
We can not consult them before they are issued in July or August and we hope that the choice of this summer where Bellifontains go on vacation, will not one more obstacle to our efforts ..!
However, the Cluster of Local Democracy Town Hall, assured us that a meeting between elected officials and local residents would take place before the end of June to brief us on the project.
This project was submitted to our Association by Mr. Videau, Director of the DPO in Fontainebleau, which has tried to respect the POS current to avoid any recourse against the building permit. His approach seemed to us because he sincerely believes in his project and really want to make the most of this site.
However, we would have said that we did not want a pardon made in the pretext of the urgency to return quickly to a site where now the DPO is losing money. We have already made the sad experience of the work done urgently as the fireplace or the installation of the school "Le Roseau" on which we are now in litigation with the DPO. So we want a quality rehabilitation to offer its citizens and residents, quality of life! We also made the same speech to our Mayor Mr Frederick Valletoux at a meeting at City Hall and Mr. Grandjean (Member of the Opposition) met during a "coffee discussion" about the future of our neighborhood .
In this project we also deplore the aesthetics is not a priority because these bars keep their frontages clean and more sad and latticed balconies that allow new and more exposure to the sight of all, various objects and varied.
We were hoping for a complete makeover of these buildings but they will not!
As for the ground-floor buildings, they will attract businesses and on this point, we issue already a few reservations because we fear nuisance to the neighborhood (Traffic flow, parking, noise ...). We shall discuss together with the municipality because our neighborhood is primarily residential, close to downtown and shopping areas, without having to know the cons ... In addition, we are not certain that these businesses can continue to see and want to avoid enclosed areas that could fall prey to vandals. (Eg ferns Avon).
We welcome your views on these issues and invite you to express yourself on the website of the City of Fontainebleau, so that our Mayor is informed before giving permissions.
