REVIEW OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF OUR ASSOCIATION. Assembly General Meeting of our Association was held as scheduled on October 22 last 20h in the Black Eagle Hotel Fontainebleau.
We were able to raise half of the number of our members and the decisions were taken by a majority of members present as provided in Article 10 of the Articles of Association.
After a brief reminder of the objectives of our association, we could make a positive assessment of this year 2009.
Indeed to date, we are about to succeed on two cases to the bars of the Pheasant, namely: Ecole "Le Roseau" and the Chimney Bar Canada.
We were pleased to learn not to renew the lease for the school, which will leave at the end of this school year in June 2010 because we are still convinced that these buildings are not adapted to receive a settlement school. However, we still battalions with local authorities for the fence of the courtyard of the school be moved to prevent children playing under the balconies and risk falling objects.
As for the fireplace, the DPO of Fontainebleau is committed to carry out upgrading work to be completed next December 11.
We have also acted on other cases to avoid nuisance to residents, such as parking staggered rue Carnot with the expansion of the breeding zones and the opening of its seats with Franprix delivery.
We now continue our work to monitor the issue of rehabilitation of the Pheasant and bars also plan to intervene on many topics such as:
- Public lighting district
- Burial networks
- The incivility of some residents (Filing of bulky foot bars, trash left behind on the highway ...)
- Security pedestrians and bicyclists throughout the neighborhood
- Parking and traffic systems
- Frequency of garbage collection
- Station Road opposite the International College.
After explaining our financial situation, Discharge was unanimously given to our Treasurer for the year 2010.
Renewal of Officers and Board of Directors was unanimously voted, and we are pleased to welcome to our team, Pierre Godbillon who will serve as Assistant Secretary.
We thank all our members who have trusted us for this year and want to increase the number of membership next year by expanding our scope of action ...
